The Rosenbauer Service Tool is redesigned and implemented. The previous version is a tool that has grown over many years, with a focus on functionality. The new development is intended to consider users' requirements in-depth -thus a comprehensive requirements survey by means of contextual inquiry will identify the requirements and needs of different target groups.

As part of the research project for Rosenbauer, PEEC planned, conducted and analyzed about 20 contextual interviews. The methodology used is based on Holtzblatt et al. (2005) and Hartson & Pyla (2012) as well as recent practical findings of the research group. In addition to the detailed evaluation, the interviews resulted in a formulation of about 100 concrete requirements for the service tool.
